Giordano Cipriani documents the people and wildlife of the Gambela region in the far western reaches of Ethiopia, home to two ethnic groups: the Anuak and the Nuer. These are lowlanders, living in the tropical, fertile lands around the Baro and Akobo Rivers, distinct from the majority of Ethiopians who live in the cooler, dryer highlands.
